Race Management Basics - Solomons

Learn the basics of managing sailboat races (keelboats and smallboats) from our host club, Southern Maryland Sailing Association (SMSA).  

This event is helpful for those who want to race and better understand what is required to run a race.  Understanding race mechanics helps you to be a better crew member and is a step to becoming a racing skipper.  All race teams are required to serve as Race Committee (RC) at least once per season.  This will give you a feel for what that is like.
