The Newport to San Diego race is organized by the Newport Ocean Sailing Association (Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race – A third weekend in April (nosa.org) )

The race will begin off Balboa Pier, Newport Beach CA, round NORTH Coronado Island to port and finish in the vicinity of the San Diego Approach Lighted Whistle Buoy. For scoring purposes, the distance is 88 nm.

Boat: Farr 40 located at Cabrillo Isle Marina, San Diego, CA

The Farr 40 will need moved up to Newport Beach prior to the race date (~70 nm).

The race will take place over 28-29 April, 2023.

Crew will be needed for delivery to Newport Beach then for the race to San Diego. Details to be worked out closer to the event date.
